Parent's Day Out
Registration for Fall 2010 is now open.
Parent’s Day Out (PDO). PDO will start their 6th year this fall on Mondays, Tuesday (NEW), Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am to 1:30pm. We follow the District 41 school calendar. While at PDO, your children will take part in circle time, crafts, music, gym, story time, a simple snack and lunch with a blessing. We provide snacks and ask you to bring a lunch for your child.

Program Objective
This program is an outgrowth of the First United Methodist Church mission statement to "Grow God's Love." Our Parent's Day Out (PDO) program shows concern for families by caring for children in a Christian environment. This is accomplished by providing a Christian based program for parents to bring their children for childcare one or two days per week. While at PDO, children are involved in activities such as crafts, play, singing, circle time including a Bible story, gym time, and a blessing with snack and lunch. First Church is dedicated to providing safe and hospitable space for children and youth.
Hours and Costs
Hours: PDO is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. PDO operates September through May and follows the Glen Ellyn District 41 school calendar for scheduled days off. Parents enroll their child and may choose to participate on one or two days.
Tuition: $25.00 per day, per child. Tuition is paid monthly on the first attendance day of each month.
Annual Registration Fee: $50.00 for one child; $75.00 for more than one child.
Please Note: Parent's Day Out is limited to children with completed application and health forms including registration card, emergency phone numbers, authorized pick-up persons, health history and emergency treatment form. No child may attend until all of these papers are on file.
