“The Challenges and Choices of Cooperative Parenting” The Christian Family Living class will focus on learning and reinforcing learned parenting patterns with the goal of raising confident, competent, caring, cooperative and lovable children.

 

We will draw from several resources, using The Parent’s handbook from the S.T.E.P. program as our primary text. Copies of the Handbook will be available at cost.

This short term study of Christian essentials using a study guide by Marcus Borg, Embracing an Adult Faith: What It Means to Be A Christian. We will talk through some basic questions about Christianity, Who is God? Jesus? What is salvation? Faith? Christian community?

Yarns of Prayer welcomes knitters and crocheters of all levels to join us during the Sunday School hour. We gather each week to create a wide variety of items for those in need including shawls, scarves, hats, and baby items. Drop by any week to share stories and projects, ask questions, and to help yourself to our stash of supplies and patterns.
